FAQ's
Do I need to be a hotel guest to book this experience?
Not at all! We welcome any guests looking to escape for the day.
Will the lunch be suitable for vegans and vegetarians?
At RVIVAL, we see this as an opportunity to engage with food in its most honest form — all of our game is wild, sourced in-house by ourselves from the surrounding landscape and treated with deep respect. That said, we fully respect individual choices. So for the lunch we will be able to design plant-focused experiences that celebrate the incredible diversity of Scotland’s wild edibles. For pescatarians, some courses may also include fish from local waters. If you have any specific dietary needs or allergies, please let us know in advance via email or when completing the waiver, so unsure everyone is catered for.
Who will be guiding us?
About Your Guide : Nala Hurst is one of RVIVAL’s core specialists and leads our wellbeing experiences. Her work embodies our purpose: helping people reconnect with their human nature through intentional, hands-on practices, rooted in the landscape. With over 20 years of experience in movement and the performing arts, Nala brings a unique blend of skill, knowledge, and lived practice. Her journey has taken her from the extremes of modern living to a deep reconnection with nature and purposeful movement, shaped by her travels through Africa and Asia and studies in evolutionary biology. Nala’s approach weaves movement, nature, and embodied practices into experiences that help others rediscover vitality, balance, and connection. Her guidance invites you to move with intention, restore with presence, and return to your natural rhythm.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Nature is unpredictable and the weather really is out of our control, although we do try our best. We operate in most weather conditions - it’s part of the experience! With the right clothing, you’ll stay comfortable. If extreme weather makes it unsafe, we’ll adapt the day to an alternative locations.
How big will the group be?
There are 12 spots available for this experience. We keep numbers small to ensure the day feels personal and able to be flexible.
Do I need to be very fit to join?
A basic level of fitness is essential. That said, Nala will always tailor the pace, routines and exercises to individuals abilities.
Will there be showers available?
Please note, showers aren’t available during the day, so we recommend packing with this in mind.
