1. How long is the trek?
The experience lasts approximately 2 hours, including a break for tea and cake.
2. What should I wear?
We recommend wearing: Sturdy walking boots or shoes Weather-appropriate layered clothing A waterproof jacket Gloves and a hat (especially in colder months)
3. What should I bring?
Please bring: A refillable water bottle A backpack Extra Layers Any personal medication you may need
4. Do I need to complete any forms before the trek?

5. Where do we meet?
Please meet us at the pink container at your booked time. If you're unsure where this is, the reception team can direct you.
6. Can I bring my own food and drink?
We provide tea and homemade cake during the trek. You’re welcome to bring extra snacks or drinks if needed, but please carry out any rubbish to help keep the area pristine.
7. Will I be riding the ponies?
No, this is a pack pony trek, meaning the ponies carry supplies while we walk alongside them.
8. Are children allowed?
Yes! The trek is suitable for children aged 12 and over. Younger children may be allowed on private bookings—please contact us in advance to discuss.
9. Can I book a private trek?
Yes, private treks are available upon request. If you’d prefer an exclusive experience, please contact us at monachyle@mhor.net or call 01877 384 622.
10. What happens in bad weather?
We go ahead in most weather conditions, so please dress appropriately. However, if extreme weather makes the trek unsafe, we will contact you to reschedule or offer a refund.
11. Are dogs allowed?
Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted on the trek to ensure the comfort and safety of the ponies.
12. What if I need to cancel?
Please refer to our cancellation policy or contact us as soon as possible if you need to make changes to your booking.

We had a fantastic pack pony adventure, and despite the unpredictable weather, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, Eliza made our experience feel special. The pack ponies were patient and their calm demeanor was contagious, their gentle presence made the journey even more special. It was a perfect blend of outdoor exploration, animal companionship, and storytelling.
